Pork Knuckles & White Carrot Cake Toa Payoh(Singapore)

Toa Payoh, if you by chance are visiting the island state of Singapura I'm sure one way or another you wont miss this urban center. One thing I like about Toa Payoh, it is a contained place where you find a shopping complex, although nothing compare to your Vivo City.. it also is an exchange travel point between the LRT and bus which you can virtually take to any point in the state.Aside from the shopping and cineplexe's don't forget to check out the food stalls...not mcdonalds or moss burger...am referring to the good good food.

A favorite of mine when in Toa Payoh is this rendition of the “Madonna and Child” which can be found at the park.

Ah yes my favorite part when going to Toa Payoh is the food, one dish in particular is the Pork Knuckles stew. Although I don't really love pork dishes or pork itself as part of a regular in my diet... i'll lay exception to this particular one which so far, the way it is cooked i've found only in Toa Payoh. Unlike most pork knuckle stews, this one has not much fat that you can see floating in the stew... you can consider it lean.

Having said about the succulent lean pork stew, ahhh I can taste it, just imagine the way it melts in your mouth…heavenly hahahah, see the face of contentment as MYSTIQUE enjoys a bowl of hot pork knuckles stew ahhhhhh all you can say….

... and yes the white carrot pan cake to go with your succulent mouth watering stew, this is too much :( i just feel real hungry by now looking at this pictures. White Carrot Pancakes with freshly chopped spring onions oh what an enjoyment to satisfy your taste buds.

MYSTIQUE couldn't just be bothered with all smiles to this meal.... well at the same time she's all smiles too... showing off her new Baby-G
