GLIMPSES OF THE SINGAPORE FLYER

It's not a post about food again, but i just had to post it. Last week i was back in Singapore, as the coach i was on crossed the bridge out of Beach Road i got a glimpse of the almost into its completion Singapore Flyer. This reminded me of the post that i did on the Eye on Malaysia sometime back.(will someone tell me why it is Eye "ON" Malaysia) kinda subjective right.

Singapore Flyer is due to open to the public first quarter 2008 thats what i've heard so to speak. The Singapore wheel is 150 meters in height, currently the tallest of it's class...next is the Star of Nanyang at 145 meters, third is the London Eye which stands at 132 meters.

other angle views of the wheel that i took while the coach passed by... the Singapore Flyer features 28 airconditioned capsules with a floor area of 26 square meters and capable of holding 30 passengers each. A complete rotation of the wheel will take an estimated 37 minutes, I wonder how much the ride will cost... im sure the ride will be worth it...oh before i forget, the wheel was designed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
