TAPAI (FERMENTED GLUTINOUS RICE)
This exotic tasting delicacy is usually popular served during the festive month of Hari Raya. To describe how it taste would be quiet difficult to relate to a reader, experiencing it is still the best. However for those that don't get a chance to visit Malaysia, Tapai tastes like this... it has the sweetness of wild honey dashed with vanilla and a distinct tinge of Tuah (local rice wine...like sake).
