LIGHTS OF CHRISTMAS

Once a year streets in major cities almost everywhere around the world lit up with a dazzle of lights. This display of lights are fast becoming a tourist attraction in such cities.

A city in Asia you can find an attraction like this would be downtown Singapore, Orchard Road. The lights and decor along the stretch of Orchard Road is setup towards the end of the month of October and lit up for display sometimes as early as the first week in November.

The display of lights is a prelude to the ashering of the Christmas holidays. What you can expect, well expect to be dazzled by this attraction, expect also the rush of shoppers till the early midnight during this time.

The lighting decor each year is themed, thus the display each year is different and is not what you see as a recycled display.
Almost each corner, each lamp post and tree along the road is adorned with hundreds of lights looking like fireflies
shopping mall facades are decorated with thousands of lights giving them a look that one can read from a fairytale
