Restaurant Sui Sui
Quite a few months ago exactly the 2nd day of CNY we stumbled onto this restaurant accidentally after having an argument with a PANDA. Actually I already forgot what, why and how the argument was all about, all i know i was supposed to go to the Chinese temple on the hill to do my regular yearly CNY Chim (Chinese fortune sticks) however instead going to the temple ended up here.
Rachel was a darling to suggest we go for crab late lunch instead of arguing, and we ended at a nearby Chinese restaurant called Siu Siu in the Taman Seputih area located at 15-11 Lorong Syed Putra Kiri, Robson Heights, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.

after a few phone calls and a few ching chong sentences, having GPS slow to load well i was even better than Google Maps, anyway we found the place. To our surprise this place is loaded with the following signature bill of fare: Salted Vegetables and Tofu soup, Sweet and Sour Crabs, Deep Fried “Man Tao” (Chinese Buns) , Claypot Crab, Roast Duck, Butter Prawns, Marmite Spare Ribs, “4 Heavenly Kings” Vegetables.
our ordering was just nice for me and Rachel, luckily we dint go overboard since the portions were quite big, we ordered 'Salted Egg Crabs", "Garlic Kailan", and "Steamed Crab in fermented Tofu with ginger". The crabs are priced per piece by the way and not by the Kg. (one crab average weight 1200 grams) RM 42 cooked. USD$ 14. live and real fresh. The Salted Egg Crabs was real hmmmmmmmmmmmmm yum yum ....you can tell cos by the time i realized to take this photo it was too late already and PANDA and I did a three quarters massacre to the dish already.
a snapshot above give you a brief on the packages Restaurant Sui Sui, offers .....get someone to translate for you....sorry but i dont speak Chinese...by the way don't look for classy ambiance at this place, regardless of the ambiance you get the food freshness and taste can be classed for a classy restaurant however if you put it ino that setting i doubt you still could get the dishes at this cheap prices. Who needs a classy ambiance place if the food sucks anyway......right.
this is what's left of the poor "Steamed Crab with fermented Tofu and Ginger" when we realized to take the photo. The dish was equally good as it is....but for me i kinda rate this dish preparation as exotic.....due to the mixed of fermented Tofu, it like having the crab boiled in "Sake" is the closest description to the taste i can give....best advice is for you to a try at it. burp...PANDA and I ended up haih~ burp =).
coming up....... (sour spicy pork noodle soup)
