SIGNS TO THE APPROACH OF THE LUNAR NEW YEAR

One of the fringes you enjoy living overseas in a multi-racial country like Malaysia is getting to experience and celebrate diverse cultural festivals and holidays too. 2009 flew just like that, the Christmas holidays came and gone like the flash of fireworks at the break of the new year, January flew past by like a breeze. Not to worry there is another festive holiday well on it's way, this is the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Signs of it can all be seen around the city. The streets of KL bare evidence to this through the decor of sakura blossoms, red lanterns and the buzz of Lion and Dragon dance drums can be heard echoing from near by temples.

ok sure this are signs of the Chinese Lunar New Year is just around the corner, the spread of flowers give a feel of spring .... holidays are on the way ..... and when there is a festive holiday!!! good good food.... whew woweeeeee ;)
